Abstract: Jovens Insurgentes: dispositivos para uma etnopesquisa implicada na educação básica* [Insurgent Youth: Tools for Engaged Ethnoresearch in Basic Education] presents an innovative proposal for grassroots, critical, and decolonial scientific inquiry aimed at students in basic, vocational, and technological education. Featuring accessible language and a dynamic visual style inspired by contemporary graphic novels, the work transforms complex qualitative research concepts into vivid pedagogical experiences connected to everyday life, local territories, and the voices of youth.

Abstract: The "IF Baiano Direito + Vida" (IF Baiano Law + Life) project proposes introducing students in IF Baiano’s integrated high school programs to legal concepts that cut across the standard curriculum, with human rights serving as the central theme. Following extensive discussion of these topics, students are invited to write down their reflections in the form of argumentative essays.
Exercising and protecting one's rights presupposes knowing what those rights are. This essay contest reinforces the practice of citizenship in the broadest sense. Schools—especially public schools serving students from underserved, often neglected communities—are spaces where critical consciousness is shaped. By fostering debate, reflection, and writing, the contest associated with this project rewards students for their merit and academic excellence.
Education transforms lives; studying is worthwhile.
It is also highly rewarding to be part of IF Baiano and to contribute to the "IF Baiano Direito + Vida" project.

Abstract: Knowing the players and the need for a reform of secondary education and a new curriculum base, based in turn on a dialog with teachers and students, in order to effectively meet the demands necessary for quality public education. We need to understand that the education of students in secondary school must be based on students having the freedom to be whatever they want, from entering a university course, to entering the job market, as well as planning their lives with their dreams and ideals in mind.
